Hi.
I'm Elena
I’m passionate about helping you be your best!
I’ve been a practicing massage therapist for over twenty years in the Minneapolis-St.Paul area. I received my Training and Certification at The Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork where I focused on Sports Therapy and Deep Tissue.
I’m also certified in Ashiatsu through Deepfeet Bar Therapy.
I’m a life-long learner and am continually expanding my knowledge and techniques to give you the best massage available.
DEEPER THAN DEEP TISSUE
Ashiatsu
Ashiatsu is an ancient Japanese massage technique where the practitioner’s feet are used, rather than the hands or arms, to massage a client’s body.
In Japanese, ashi means foot, and atsu means pressure ~ it literally translates to foot pressure.
During an Ashiatsu massage, I hold onto bars mounted on the ceiling over the table and use my bare feet to deliver deep compression, long gliding strokes, and assisted stretching. Does this make you apprehensive? Are you wondering if having Ashiatsu will be too intense, painful, or even scary? Don’t worry! I have full control and the massage is tailored to your needs just as Swedish or Deep Tissue massage would be.
Modalities
Massage oil or cream is used with smooth, gliding strokes. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. It is a classic massage that will ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation.
Designed to remove severe tension, deep tissue massage is a technique used to relieve both muscles and connective tissue below the surface. It helps to improve range of motion and heal injuries below the surface. Great for athletes and heavy lifters.
ASHIATSU
Deeper than Deep Massage! The therapist's body weight and feet are used to create broader and deeper strokes. Utilizing the feet while suspended from a bar, I deliver deep pressure, gliding strokes, and assisted stretching while working with gravity. This modality is one to experience!
Gift of Massage
There's no better way to say "I Love You!", or "Thank You!" than a relaxing massage.
It's easy to send them a gift certificate!
